Ceramic Sculpture & Acrylics

Bob has a degree in ceramics from the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland. He was influenced by several artists; from Peter Voulkos and Bob Arneson to Viola Fry and Dennis Galligher. Bob has a style uniquely his own.  His subject matter is "the living creatures on the planet". He is able to capture the vitality and freedom of nature in his vivid use of raku, paint , textiles, pottery and ceramics.  Bob owns the Volcano Art Gallery. He currently has a solo show touring the state museums in Mexico.
