Robert was born and raised in Sutter Creek.  He has a M.A. from the Calfornia College of Arts and Craft in Oakland.   Robert has traveled and painted in France, Germany, and England. He works in acrylics on canvas and paints mostly landscapes of Amador County, Sacramento Delta, France, and England. He is also a ceramics sculptor and  has taught at several colleges in California. His work can be seen at the Fine Eye Gallery, the Sutter Creek Gallery, and the Vorpal Gallery in San Francisco. Robert's artistry can be seen in several permanent and private collections throughout the United States.
